COACH TRAINING PROGRAM
The CBC Coach Training Programs provide a comprehensive foundation in coaching methodology, professional ethics, and client-centered practices. Designed for both new and transitioning coaches, these multi-course programs deliver structured, skills-based training that builds clarity, confidence, and the practical ability to create measurable impact as a professional coach in both individual and group environments.
ON-DEMAND COURSES
The CBC On-Demand Coaching and Business courses offer targeted, self-paced training to help you strengthen essential coaching skills and build a sustainable practice. Whether you are refining your client approach or developing systems to support growth, these courses provide practical, actionable strategies you can apply immediately to enhance your coaching and business results.
SPECIALTY DESIGNATION TRAINING PROGRAMS

Upon successful completion of CBC On-Demand and Continuing Education courses, you will gain access to a professionally designed, downloadable Certificate of Achievement that is frameable for display and recognizes your dedication and accomplishments. Please note: frames are not included.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION (DIGITAL)
A digital Certificate of Completion is easily verified online and serves as official proof that you have successfully completed professional coach training and developed corresponding coaching skills. A Certificate of Completion is included upon successful completion of all courses within the Coaching Training Programs and Specialty Designation Training Programs. For Continuing Education courses, a Certificate of Completion is available upon successful completion as an optional upgrade for a nominal fee.
CERTIFICATION THROUGH INDEPENDENT CREDENTIALING BODIES
Some students may wish to pursue professional coach certification through an independent third-party credentialing organization. While Coaching Business Center does not issue certification, our training programs are designed to support the educational components often required as part of those applications. Upon successful completion of a CBC Coaching Training Program or Specialty Designation Training, students may include their Certificate of Completion, list their relevant coursework, and submit these materials when applying to organizations such as the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) for the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential.

What are the requirements to submit an application for third-party certification with an accrediting body?
Eligibility requirements vary by credentialing body but often include completion of coach training aligned with recognized competencies, documented coaching experience, professional references, adherence to a code of ethics, continuing education, and passing a coach-specific examination. While our training aligns with many of these competencies, applicants should verify specific credentialing requirements directly with the certifying organization.
How does the coach training prepare a student for third-party certification?
Coach training programs are designed to meet specific industry guidelines that develop core coaching competencies, provide peer coaching experience, and support overall professional growth. Upon successful completion of these programs, students may be eligible to apply to third-party credentialing organizations to sit for their coach certification exam. While our training helps prepare students for the exam, completion of the program does not guarantee passing the exam. The credentialing body reviews the application and, once approved, schedules the applicant to sit for the credentialing exam.
Will I need to take Continuing Education courses after I receive a coaching credential?
Most credentialing bodies require applicants to submit proof of completed coach training aligned with their standards, demonstrate coaching experience, provide professional references, and agree to a code of ethics. Applicants must also sit for a coach-specific credentialing exam. After certification, credential holders typically must complete Continuing Education within a set timeframe to maintain their credential. These Continuing Education hours can often be fulfilled by attending coaching conferences or taking courses offered by Coaching Business Center or other approved providers.
Will I need to keep track of my coach training and coaching hours to maintain my professional coach credential?
Yes. Most professional coaches commit to lifelong learning to stay current with industry standards, trends, and innovations. Accurately tracking coaching hours, including individual, group, and organizational sessions, is an important part of maintaining professional standing. The Coaching Business Center’s training programs offer resources to help you begin and maintain thorough coaching records.
